This is the simplest animation using technique of selection and layer. If you know more trick of selection and layer’s technique, you will make it faster and easier. This procedure is based on the simple ways :
- Open the raw file. Since animated file will spend more memory, don’t make a big size image. Change the size to be smaller.
- Make selection to the mollen (propeller) you want to animate. Do copy and paste. Repeat four times, so you will have four layers.
- Make the four new layers invisible by click oout the “eye icon”. Now you work with the background one. Double click so that it become a layer.
- Set foreground color to be the same color with “the sky” behind the mollen”.
- With brush, cover the original mollen. You can make correction also with brush paint.
- Make layer 1 visible. Also layer 2. Make selection to layer 2 in the layer panel
- Back to the canvass, bring the mollen of layer 2 exactly on the top of molen layer1. Click menu Edit -> transform -> rotate. You will see a small circle in the center of the square, that is the center of rotation. Drag it exactly on the top of the center of the mollen.
- Bring your mouse out of the square, it will change to a curve. While pushing “shfit” botton, move clockwise direction two times. (It automatically 15 degree each movement). To apply it you have to click the move tool.
- Do the similar way to layer 2, 3 and 4 so that you have like this.
- Click menu Windows -> animation, to get animation frames panel.
