Your animation would be much better with audio. The audio can be embedded in the animation file if you use flash object or in movie clip. For GIF, you can put the audio in the html page (for webpage) or in your Power Point Slide. To do this things, you should have the basic knowledge about audio.
In music CD, you can have only 10 – 20 songs, because it is in RAW format. Read this post to know about this audio format.
To deal with audio, you need basic tools at least for this purposes – this I have choosen for you the free ones:
- To rip the music from CD. If you have a Windows Media Player in your computer, you can easily “rip” your music from the CD to have the mp3 or wmv formats. You can’t do copy and paste of the raw music from your CD. I found a good freeware to handle the audio files. It is CDex, that you can download it in this link. Download the installer, not the archive or source code. I recommend this one because it has the facility of encapsulating.
- To edit audio files. There is an excellent freeware for this duty, it is “Audacity”. You can trim the audio, make effects etc. Download it here.
- To convert between audio file formats. Unfortunately Audacity supports not so many audio file formats, especially wmv. You might need an audio format converter. After searching, I found “Any Audio Converter”. Download it here.
Try this three tools and you are ready to go on with your animation.
